This year the Gloucestershire Cambridge Society and the Oxford University Society Gloucestershire Branch in our annual joint event will be enjoying the Boat Race in the splendid setting of Minchinhampton Golf Club. A great opportunity to get to know each other better in a spirit of amiable rivalry! Over the years, the outcome for the Men’s Race is Oxford 80 Cambridge 83 (and one dead heat), and for the Women’s Race Oxford 30 to Cambridge 43.

Our event begins with lunch from 1.00 pm. The Women’s Race is broadcast at 2.15 pm and the Men’s Race at 3.15 pm. We shall wrap up by around 4.00 pm.

We will have a private room(s) adjacent to the bar.

A buffet lunch will be provided with wine and soft drinks. Tea and coffee will also be available. For those with different or deeper thirsts, the club bar will be close by and able to assist. They also keep a range of cakes.
