Prices

Lecture tickets

  • Per session: £15 (concessions: £12)
  • Four or more sessions: £60 (concessions: £48)

Concessionary prices apply to Cambridge alumni and students who matriculated in or later than 2007, and guests aged between 12 and 18 years of age.

Under-12s go free but must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Event tickets

Some events are chargeable and others are free-of-charge. Pricing is shown on each individual event listing. 

For a small number of events that are chargeable, the fee will be payable on the door – see the individual event listings for details.

Lunch

The pre-bookable lunch, served on the Sidgwick Site from 12pm until 2pm on Saturday, 23 September, is £10 inclusive of VAT. See more about Festival lunches >

 

Bookings

There are still around 50 events with space available to book on the day at the Welcome Centre marquee on the Sidgwick Site. See the location on the University's online map >

 

When you arrive

Please collect your badge, printed guide and Festival gifts from the Welcome Centre in the marquee on the Sidgwick Site's Raised Faculty Building lawn. You'll need to display your name badge when attending Festival events.

  • Friday, 22 September: 9am to 5pm
  • Saturday, 23 September: 8.45am to 5.30pm

For advice and assistance, please come to the welcome centre, where our staff can help you with the following:

  • Booking enquiries, including changing your event selections
  • Finding your way to your chosen events
  • General enquiries
  • Medical assistance

 

Parking

Cambridge's park and ride network includes sites at five locations around the city. See details of park and ride sites and pricing. There is also limited metered parking on West Road and Sidgwick Avenue; limited non-metered parking can be found on Adams Road, Herschel Road and Sylvester Road.

Six disabled parking spaces are available on the Sidgwick Site and Blue Badge holders can refer to the Cambridge City Council website for more parking options.

 

Food and drink on the Sidgwick Site

On the Saturday, tea and coffee will be available free of charge from the marquee during the morning break between lectures (10.30 – 11am).

Picnic box lunches

Pre-booked meals on the Sidgwick Site will be served from 12pm to 2pm upon presentation of your badge.

On the day, you'll be able to create your own two course picnic box from our fantastic 'deli counter'. For your first course, you'll choose from a wide range of fresh salads, cured meats, pâtés, smoked fish, pork pies and scotch eggs, continental and British cheeses, olives, pickles, chutneys and artisan breads. Desserts will include: cakes, fruit tarts, and strawberries and cream. The price also includes a soft drink.

For those of you pushed for time, we will offer 'grab and go' picnic bags containing a gourmet sandwich, fruit, crisps, chocolate bar and drink.
