Reflections from the Vice-Chancellor |

Dear ,
I hope you and yours are safe and well. I have been profoundly touched by the incredible generosity of our alumni around the world, who have contributed advice, personal protective equipment (PPE) and philanthropic support towards Cambridge's efforts to tackle the COVID-19 crisis. Thank you all.
Our Vice-Chancellor, Professor Stephen J Toope, is isolated here in Cambridge, and has recorded some reflections. I trust you will enjoy hearing from him in this short video, and staying connected with the University. You might note the Vice-Chancellor references Cambridge's recent development of a rapid diagnostic test, which you can read more about on our webpage.
We are delighted that our first Cambridge Conversations webinar, about COVID-19, will take place on Friday 17 April, with Professor Ken Smith and Dr Nick Matheson each presenting and answering your questions about the virus. The discussion will be facilitated by The Naked Scientists' Dr Chris Smith.
For more information, and to book your place, please visit our website.
Both Reflections from the Vice-Chancellor and Cambridge Conversations are the first in a series to continue through the duration of this crisis. We will keep you in touch with Cambridge: the research, opinions and ideas that will change the world for the better.
Stay safe.
Yours,
Alison
