These rough notes: Captain Scott's Last Expedition
7 December - 5 May
On display for the first time, are the manuscripts, including Scott's own journal, which tell the story of the Terra Nova Expedition, 1910-13.

The exhibition not only highlights the 'Worst Journey in the World' – the winter journey to collect eggs from the Emperor penguin colony at Cape Crozier – but also the largely forgotten 'Northern Party' – six men stranded for 21 months and forced to shelter from the brutal Antarctic winter in a cave dug into the snow.

Please see the SPRI website for details.
