The Department of Politics and International Studies (POLIS) provides an institutional focus at Cambridge for teaching and research on politics in all its dimensions; international and comparative, theoretical and empirical, abstract and practical.

The co-location of POLIS with the Centre for Research in the Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities has enabled colleagues to collaborate across conventional boundaries.

Finbarr Livesey MPhil in Public Policy Fund

Decorative

The Finbarr Livesey Bursary will provide an annual grant to support a student on the MPhil in Public Policy (MPP) at the University of Cambridge. The bursary is named in honour of Finbarr Livesey, who tragically passed away in 2019. Dr Livesey was a founding faculty member of the MPP and he also later served as the Programme Director. His vision and determination have left a lasting legacy, both shaping the MPP and inspiring the students he taught.
