The men’s lacrosse team was founded in 1882, making it the oldest university lacrosse club in the United Kingdom.

For most of our history, we have played in the South of England Lacrosse Association leagues, alongside our Oxford rivals, who we compete against each year in our Varsity match, with 2016 marking the 100th Varsity match.

To compete at a high level requires a lot of training, transport, and equipment, which is paid for by subscriptions of £170 a year per player. Therefore CULC is seeking to raise at least £300 a year, towards the playing costs of one player from a disadvantaged background who may not otherwise have the opportunity to play. Alongside this, we are raising money for one-off club investments such as beginners' equipment and goals. We are fortunate to have a dedicated Alumni Association, the XVI Club, which provides a network for CULC alumni and support CULC.

If you are able to support the club in its aims, please consider making a regular donation of £5 or £10 a month through the link below.

For more information and contact details about CULC, please visit our website, alumni, please see the XVI Club website.
