Britten Sinfonia at Lunch
Britten Sinfonia, the University's resident orchestra, is one of Europe's most dynamic chamber orchestras, with a residency in Norwich as well as Cambridge and a concert series at London's Southbank Centre and Wigmore Hall. The ensemble enjoys a blossoming international profile, a recent highlight being acclaimed tours of South America and The Netherlands, and is frequently heard on BBC Radio 3 and commercial radio.
Cambridge alumni receive £2 off the ticket price of Britten Sinfonia's at Lunch concerts in Cambridge, currently held four times a year. The 2011-12 series will be held on: 24 January, 13 March and 1 May 2012 at Cambridge West Road Concert Hall, 11 West Road, Cambridge CB3 9DP.
